Is the free phone consultation required?

Do I need a referral to sign up?
Nope! North Carolina is a direct access state, thus no referral from a physician is necessary.

Pricing & Payment
How much does physical therapy cost at Summit Strength & Rehab?
Our pricing is straightforward and transparent, and can be found on our pricing page.
Can I use insurance to pay?
At this time, Summit Strength & Rehab operates on a 100% cash-based system and cannot accept insurance. You may, however, request a “superbill” to be completed which you may then file with your insurance company to seek reimbursement. Ask Dr. Blankenship about the superbill for more information!
What if I have Medicare/Medicaid?
You may still receive services from Summit Strength & Rehab if you have Medicare/Medicaid, however you cannot seek reimbursement and must pay the full cost out-of-pocket. This is because Medicare/Medicaid is very particular about who they are willing to pay for PT services, and will only pay for licensed Medicare providers. At this time, Summit Strength & Rehab is not a participating provider.
Programming
How does the online programming/coaching work?
Summit Strength & Rehab is proud to offer online training, programming, and coaching through the Everfit App. This route is best suited for folks who do not desire in-person therapy OR who have completed an in-person therapy package, and would like continued virtual coaching to further optimize their training or exercise regimen.
NOTE: like all other packages, this route does still require the 15-minute phone consultation but does NOT necessarily require an initial evaluation.
What is EverFit, and how does it work?
EverFit is our online programming platform where you will be able to see, access, and even customize your personalized workout plan. EverFit also provides a messaging system where you have direct 24/7 access to Dr. Blankenship for any coaching questions or concerns.
